CASING Brenda

The wonderful Barb challenged us to CASE a card we have placed in our "Favorites File".
I loved the idea, and I chose one of sweet Brenda's beautiful cards.
What first caught my eye about her gorgeous card, was the lovely color combination.
Isn't that "Mustard Seed"-Distress Ink fabulous with the kraft!?
The background embossing & inking, and the sweet butterfly are perfect on her card.

Brenda, thanks for the wonderful inspiration!

Hello & Sweet

Howdy and Welcome!
My computer is running EXTREMELY slow!
I am not able to visit blogs or leave comments.
Hopefully, the problem will resolve itself, before too long.

Today, I am sharing two "Tag Cards" I made using patterned paper from the same paper pack.
The one on the left was made for my dear brother, and the one on the right was made for my sweet sister.
All stamps are by Hero Arts.

Thank you for your visit.  Your sweet comments are greatly appreciated.
Happy crafting!
Have a wonderful day!

Thank You

I really enjoyed making this card for the following:
CASology - Week #14 challenge, where the cue word is "Leaf".
Simon Says...Dies and/or Punches, where we are to use dies or punches.
The Meadow Leaf is cut from white cardstock that has been inked with various Distress Inks.
The kraft card base is cut with the Meadow Leaf die.
To create subtle texture, the PTI-Linen Impression Plate is used on the kraft card base.
A strip of patterned paper is popped up with foam adhesive on the bottom of the card base.
The sentiment is embossed.
To add interest, hemp cord is wrapped around, and tied in a bow.

Ink:  Various Distress Inks, Coffee-Archival Ink
