Who loves Buttons?

Hope you are having a fantastic day!
The current temperature in my part of the USA is 47.  Yeah!  I'm loving it!

As I was looking through some items that I recently received from a Flickr friend,
I couldn't stop looking at ALL the fabulous buttons (in one of my favorite colors) she sent.
Then I looked through ALL the patterned paper I've bought/collected,
(I really need to put it to good use.)
and found this lovely "Simple Stories-Documented" 6 x 6 paper
that I thought would work beautifully with the lovely buttons.
I strung the buttons on twine, and added a glue dot behind each button.
After playing around with the design, this card came together rather quickly.
WOW...I love those buttons!  Thanks, Rosemary!

Supplies
Stamp:  Hero Arts-Good Friends
Paper:  Kraft, Simple Stories-Documented
Ink:  Coffee-Archival, Brushed Corduroy

I Love You - Tag Card

Hello!  Thank you for stopping by today.

Clean and Simple (CAS) is not my usual style of creating.
Usually, I like to almost completely cover my creations with
some kind of stamping, inking, patterned paper, layers, and/or embellishments.
However, there are several CAS challenges that have challenged me to step out of my comfort zone.
I made this "Tag Card" for these challenges.

Supplies
Stamps:  (Hero Arts)-CL582-Year Round Sentiments, CL586-XO
Paper:  (BasicGrey)-Little Black Dress, (SU)-Crumb Cake, (PTI)-Rustic Cream

Ink:  VersaMark, Hero Hues-Punch Chalk Ink, Jet Black-Archival Ink

The sentiment is embossed.
To add interest, hemp cord is wrapped around, and tied in a bow.

Tags With Mini Bags & A Tag-Card

Hello, and thank you for stopping by today!

If you know anything about my creative style, I really enjoy making Tag Cards and Tags with Pockets.
So while on a wonderful vacation, I taught a class at the fabulous scrapbook store, Rocky Mountain Memories in Estes Park, Colorado.  The store owners, Cheryl & Rick Grigsby, are the sweetest couple.
They allowed me to hang out at their store, as often as my heart desired, to do a little creating, while away from home.  :-)  Thanks, Cheryl and Rick!

This is what the wonderful ladies created in the class that I taught.  All the stamps are by B Line Designs.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello Sunshine

Hello, and thank you for stopping by today.  Hope you are having some sunshine in your part of the world.
We get LOTS of it in my part of the world.

I really enjoy making tag cards by simply adhering a second blank tag behind the top of the front tag.
This allows me to write a message on the inside of the card.

I made this for the following challenges:
Hero Arts-July-Summer
CASology - Week #1 - Sun
CAS-ual Fridays - CFC60 - Text Me

I've used two medium tags.  The bottom of the front tag is stamped with the Hero Arts Old French Writing, and the tag is embossed with a Quickutz-Dot Embossing Folder.  The Martha Stewart-Die Cut Lace Tag and the Hug Snug-Seam Binding are painted with Golden-Iridescent Gold acrylic paint, which produces a beautiful shimmer.

Supplies
Stamps:  (Hero Arts)-CL512-Lauderdale Sunshine, H2365-Old French Writing, CL414-Classic Messages
Die:  Sizzix-Tim Holtz-Tiny Tabs & Tags
Paper:  PTI-White, Black; Basic Grey-Little Black Dress
Ink/Paint:  VersaMark Ink, Archival-Jet Black, Golden-Iridescent Gold Acrylic Paint
Other:  Medium Tags, Quickutz-Dot Embossing Folder, Martha Stewart-Die-Cut Lace Tag, Scrapper's Floss, Denami Design-Black Button, Foam Adhesive

Have a wonderful day!
